Gas Chlorination Systems
Gas chlorination systems are still the most common disinfection technology used in water and wastewater treatment. Although gaseous chlorine has long been considered unsafe, the development of effective safety products, such as automatic shut-off systems, chlorine emergency scrubbers, and vent exhaust gas arrestors, has made chlorine gas systems safer than ever.
DE NORA Water Technologies offers a wide range of Capital Controls® gas feed products and accessories, which can be used to feed various gaseous solutions, including chlorine, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, and carbon dioxide. Capital Controls gas chlorination systems have feed capacities ranging from 200 g/h to 200 kg/h and can be mounted on cylinders, ton containers, walls, or floors, depending on the application. Capital Controls instrumentation for chlorine gas feed systems includes controllers, chlorine residual analyzers, and gas leak detectors.
